Advancing HTW® Gasification with Pelletized Waste Feedstock

At GIDARA Energy, our commitment to sustainable and innovative energy solutions drives us to continually explore and refine our HTW® gasification technology. One of the key advancements in this area is the use of pelletized waste feedstock, which significantly enhances the efficiency and reliability of our gasification process.

Higher Efficiency & Reduced Volume:
Pelletizing waste feedstock dramatically increases bulk density, allowing our plants to operate at higher capacities with less volume. For instance, the density of pelletized RDF/SRF material increases from 100kg/m³ to 450-500kg/m³, and wood pellets see a rise from 250kg/m³ to 700-800kg/m³. This increase in density not only facilitates more efficient solid handling but also enables up to five times more throughput for RDF/SRF and up to three times for wood waste.

Superior Flowability:
Pellets are easier to handle compared to powder materials, significantly reducing blockages and downtime. This improvement ensures smoother and more reliable plant operations, enhancing overall efficiency.

Consistent Mass Flow:
The use of pelletized feedstock ensures a consistent and stable feed, minimizing flow-related issues. This consistency is crucial for maintaining production levels and improving plant availability.

Versatility in Feedstock Handling:
Pellets are less sensitive to variations in material type, providing greater flexibility in the design of our solid handling systems. This adaptability allows our gasification plants to process a wide range of feedstocks with greater efficiency.

At GIDARA Energy, we’re proud to integrate these advancements into our HTW® gasification process. By focusing on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, we continue to lead the way in transforming waste into valuable resources.
